Future of mobility under development
The business model in Slovakia focuses on concessions and long-term leases, although management contracts are also worthy of note. This is all diversified mainly in the centre of the six cities in which Saba has a presence and in hospital facilities.
Due to the relocation of many factories installed in Western Europe, Slovakia is now a major auto powerhouse, promoting medium-term growth in the ratio of vehicle ownership among its citizens. This means that the contractual life of the assets is very long, as the future of car parks is assured.
All this means that the mobility-related infrastructure market is developing and there is a great need for parking solutions, especially in regulated zones and residential areas. Saba is committed to its smart parking offer, with all the added services for the customer, as well as remote operations centres to control activity.
In 2022, Saba was able to sign the renewal for up to eight contracts in Slovakia, including nearly 3,700 parking spaces, so consolidating the company’s assets under management in the country.
